News from Xbox360fanboy is that Tower Records will be offering a 25% online discount on all video games. Thats right, that includes new games, older games, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, DS. You name it, you can get it at a 25% online discount.

So if you're looking to get some newer Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 titles cheaper, this seems like a good time to take advantage of that.

Crackdown Demo Coming!

Yes! It is indeed coming, in fact it's coming to Xbox Live Marketplace next Tuesday.

Of course everyone wants this demo, who wouldn't? It gives everyone a chance to try the game they might have just bought for no reason, well besides getting into the Halo 3 beta.

Gears of War Makes 3million Mark

That's right Cliffy B, you owe us, all of us who bought Gears of War for you. We demand you drop the UT2k4 style and go back to the great GOTY edition, make it happen!

But on to the actual story, Epic Games latest venture Gears of War has sold over 3 million copies. Not only keeping the Xbox 360 selling but enforcing that online play truly can make or break a game.

Call of Duty 3 Map Pack Woes

The newly released Valor map pack for Call of Duty 3 is now available for purchase on Xbox Live Marketplace. But, you can't exactly do much with it after that.

It seems Microsoft released a dud. After downloading the map pack, it'll basically sit there until Activision and Microsoft have finished their solution to get it working with the game.

“The Battle for the Living Room”

  • Microsoft has their Live Marketplace movie downloads.
  • Sony has their PSP movie downloading deal in the works.
  • Apple has their Apple TV (previously iTV) with their already available movie downloads

In case you didn't know, there is a website called Mega64 who creates amazingly hilarious game videos.  Gaming videos…of real people creating the games in the real world.

Consider this Dead Rising clip your introduction to the crazy world of Mega64, and spend the rest of your day at their site if you've never been there before.  It really is awesome.

Just A Wii Bit Loud

Not only does the Nintendo Wii reboot itself for every little thing you do with it. But now a report has come out that the little console that could also makes the most amount of noise.

At least while reading disc media that is. But still, what a surprise that is, I thought the Xbox 360 would take that title by far.

Guitar Hero II Preorder?

Why yes son, you can! Just head over to your local EBGames or Gamestop and ask if you too can preorder your very own copy of Guitar Hero II for the Xbox 360.

How much is this glorious port of a Playstation 2 title going to cost you? Good question, I'm glad you asked! It will run you around $89.99 with a Xbox 360 compatible guitar included. Not too bad for a game that has achieved such love from fans and industry folk alike.
