Sony Compilation
March 2nd, 2007 . by JoshThere has been so much Sony news as of late, so I decided to do a small compilation of all that is good, and bad.
- Sony announces 1,000 backwards compatible Playstation 2 titles in EU Playstation 3's. (GOOD)
- Rumor of a major Playstation 3 feature to somewhat merge "Mii/Achivements" in Sony's own style. (GOOD)
- Sony and Kotaku break ties over Brian Crecente posting the PS3 Home rumor. (BAD) – Crecente respect++
- Immersion and Sony make peace, rumble in PS3's future looking bright. (GOOD)
- Phil Harrison announces Playstation 3 will soon have the ability to upscale DVD's. (GOOD)
- Sony and Kotaku make up, ties reborn. (GOOD)
So all-in-all it has been a very busy day for Sony. Generally Sony is known for being a press disaster, yet today it seems to be a bit reversed. Of course the Kotaku incident was a mistake on their part, in the end I could see both as being wrong in that situation, but Brian Crecente was right in what he did.
Maybe this is a turn in the right direction for the company, who knows.
But for now, this is enough of the Sony news, lets see some Xbox 360 and Wii press!
